Each day, the Lord is invited as a guest — given a seat, water to wash his feet, a sip of water, a bath, fresh robes, a sacred thread, sandal, flowers, incense, a lamp, food, betel, a wave of light, and a final obeisance. Sixteen upacharas, performed in order, without shortcut.
During Mangal Aarti, a single copper kalash is ritually bathed in nine ingredients — panchamrit, Narmada water, ghee, milk — and emptied over the murti. A devotee who sponsors an Abhishek Labh stands beside the pujari.
