Gau-Dham

Cows or cattle are the most useful domestic animals. They benefit the humans and the environment in many ways that we fail to recognize or appreciate. They are raised as dairy animals for milk and other dairy products and as draft animals. Cow dung is also used as fuel all over the country. Cow in India, has significant religious importance as she is considered as a venerable deity. Milk of Gir-cow is considered to be the complete food and a best medicine.

We have recently inaugurated the Gau-dham encompassing 108 cows. As the Neelkanth-Dham is unique by all walks, the Gau-Dham being part and parcel of that, is too unique. Because, Every-single cow is kept and served in a separate temple. The reason behind that is to facilitate and promote gau-poojan by pilgrims. In each temple there are sacred offerings fom Gau-poojan. All the special temples are summit-mounted on their top. Cows are epitome of love and care. At present, 108 Gir-cows are available at the campus. We believe cows to be our mothers and serving them devotionally and faithfully is our sole aim to glorify the hidden treasure of cows. All the facilities for the well-being of cows are devotionally offered here.

They provide us with the entire requirement for our farming activities in Agriculture. As per research, a single  cow can help farming 1-30 acres of land. It saves the crop from pests, insects and fungi. We availed a training center for farmers where they are taught and guided for natural farming.

The pure milk obtained from cows is used for the anointing Neelkanth Prabu in abhishek. The Abhishek-milk is recollected and then distributed to tribe-children at no charge.
